Looks great! I have the same contract. Contract was from the end of 1958, however the jackets were not delivered till sometime in 1959. I was conceived in 1958 and delivered in 1959, so I love that this jacket that I own is the same age as me.

Like you too I’m hooked on them. Got a 1964 Ralph Edwards the same age as my wife. A mint 1950 55J14 Pritzker and a 1942 M-422A Willis Geiger. That one has the pilots name tag and squadron patch. And I was able to find all the information on the pilot.

I just love the history of the jackets as much as I love the fit and the look.

I'm the same. I came into the jacket game loving the A-2, and I still love it, but the G-1 is even cooler and so much more practical.

Could be I'm a little biased as a Navy vet but I don't think so. The G-1 is the best.

Would love to see the Willis Geiger. Have you shown it already?

It’s is a quite a hefty goatskin for sure and the jacket has some weight to it. The design makes for a very comfortable fitting jacket and I like it. I found this in a thrift store in brand new condition and only paid $50, so I’m happy.

I love prison striped trousers but there's absolutely no way I've got the courage to wear them in real life.

The very few comments I got IRL were not even about being an inmate but related to the colors of the local football team.
People don't notice or don't care. At least here.
