and decided to try on the p613sh in 36 and 38. 38 feels like it has longer sleeves with more of a "looser" fit while the 36 feels great but a tad snug when zipped up. Salesman says the jacket will stretch half a size when broken in.

I love the look and feel of the 36 and believe the pics are the 36. any reason I should save up or hold off for the lost world j24!? hah bet you didn't see that coming! as usual the associates were very nice and friendly but all different from the last time I was there.

I dont know this is such a rabbit hole. I dont really need another jacket but maybe I can justify it by getting it used. Sigh but the 36 made me look years younger than my 51!

oh my wife also says she liked the HH bc it is shinier with the standout big zippers and I dont disagree. I have the 689hh (my 1st leather jacket) and I still love it!

Looks great. I will say the 38 will look similar once broken in and the stiff panels settle.

By the way this is the 613SH, not the P613S. That one is made of Chromexcel and comes in alpha sizing so you can't fine tune the size quite like we can on this one.

You might have a tough time finding another piece that fits as well as that one.
Thank you! I think once it breaks in, will feel/look even better. if there is one criticism it is I wish the belt is removable.

my aero j106 is not as snug but I can layer for sure so this slimmer 614sh may complement well as it allows virtually no layering, and it isnt a d pocket. we will see.

correct! s is slim and sh is slim horse.

I like the slimmer fit, even my wife thought the 38 was boxier and the cowhide not as shiny so there goes that. also the sleeves on the 38 were definitely noticeably longer, so def no no. We loved the shine actually; my 689hh was shiny but not as much now.

atm im debating if i should hit up the factory sale. 45 min drive

also I saw your post about your perfecto. do you still have it and any updates?

This one is a firm TFL favourite, and as per usual, it does look great on you.

My recommendation re size is that you should go strictly with the jacket that FEELS better as of TODAY: while the horsehide will mold to your body nicely, it will not stretch half a size. Of course break-in will make it feel roomier but that is just the leather adapting to your way of moving, riding, living.

If I had a dollar for every one of us who is in-between sizes with Schott...

They should make a size called "large plus" that is precisely in between large and XL, which would prob outsell all of their other sizes combined.

Thank you! I think this crosszip goes well with my aero j106 which is layerable and a diff color and squeaks lol.
I do ride a 2022 z400 so it would be good for that too and not just fashion lol. I'm gonna wait and see what is available in the used market first :)
