Premiere Knox homburg from Stix Baer & Fuller shop, dated 1/18/46 (dated by receipt) . This one serves me very well, the wool felt feels amazing. However, this could honestly also be worn over the summer. Sorry for the poor pictures, lighting here ain't great -

Why the change from natural waist?
I agree. I think the high waisted trousers look more masculine and less sloppy than the extremely low rise. Unfortunately these are hard to come by among the contemporary market -

Getting warmer. Other than their loop tags, these look easily vintage. I love the green one! If you want more ideas on repeating patterns of the golden era, observe clothing catalogs, ads, and pictures. Check out eBay and etsy too, striking gold at goodwill is unheard of (for me, at least).- MondoFW

Update: the hat has arrived, and unfortunately the hat does not suit my face. It is also a tad bit big, would you believe it? What a shame, this hat is a quality piece for sure. Oh well, hopefully Miami will accept a return. -
