Al's a beast.

Picked this CHP up recently and almost feels like NOS. Zippers are smooth. Fresh smell. Hardly any fades on the leather, real soft, and the grain. Back panel looking glorious!

Hi @benami ,
Looking great! Looking at an Aero CR or J100 myself. Can I read your and the jacket’s measures, in case you have them posted in a thread somewhere already, please?

Hey thanks! I did make a dedicated post on reddit on it I think in one of the comments I shared some measurements
https://www.reddit.com/r/leatherjacket/comments/1t8v8sh
I'll share here also, I'm 5'10 tall and weight 75 kg and the jacket is 23 pit to pit, 19 shoulder, 25 back length with added 1 inch drop to the front, 18.5 hem oh and my chest size when purchased was around 40 inch now its around 41 inch

Thanks very much, this helps a lot. I’m built very similarly to you, same measures I think.

That jacket really looks fantastic. Seems to be striking that rare equilibrium of comfort, space for layering options, but still looking sharply on point!

Thanks I can't wait till jacket season it's still too hot and really want to break in the jacket fully and start revealing the tea core. the jacket was based on size 38 Cafe racer I did change the collar to the board racer collar and adjusted the back length and front drop plus adding action back but the pit to pit and shoulders and hem were the base 38 without adjusting. I highly recommend the Steerhide CXL over the Horse its slightly thicker and heavier but breaks in much faster and the thickness is what gives the sleeves such nice rolls I think

Wait a size 38 with a 23” pit to pit and a 19” shoulder measurement..? For an Aero CR? That seems quite a bit larger than standard.

Yeah definitely is it was expected to be 22-22.5 pit to pit and 18-18.5 shoulder but arrived larger than expected but luckily it fits great with these measurements guessing because the steerhide is a thick leather. my other jackets that fit slim are normally 21-22 pit to pit and 18 shoulder

I am glad it worked out, and it does look great. But man, Aero sizing
can be wacky. They currently have a size 42 CR listed at 22.5” P to P and 18.75” Shoulder.
