yes very comfortable. Unlike a true leather jacket which is more structured and stiff, this has much less material and the leather is soft and stretchy so it really feel like putting on a shirt rather than a jacket.

i was intending to keep it and wear it unbuttoned but the wife suggested just sell it and get one size bigger.
I completely agree, feels way different than a regular leather jacket, mine’s a flat head western shacket in deerskin so it feels really soft and a bit stretchy, I like to wear it snug with a couple of lower buttons done.

Your wife is right. These run terribly small. I had to size up to a 46 (normally 42-44).
Absolutely worth the purchase, though. Have one in horse and one in deer, and both get very regular wear.

Yesterday was a very Vanson day.
Started in the custom comet and later wore my model B to watch a game at the ballpark with the boys.

Beautiful jackets in their own rights and really comfortable fits on both. The B is in old school comp weight and honestly feels 3X heavier than the comet. Definitely a light weight jacket, but Thurston Bros dark hickory Vancouver hide has a lovely deep brown color to it!

This just arrived. Vanson single rider in Octagon leather. Size 36. It was snug yesterday, but after 4 bagels and French fries and jeans with a thick belt, it seems way too snug. What do folks think? Put it up on the Classifieds or stop eating bagels and fries? Or both?

The shoulders, sleeves and length are fitted but very wearable. The hem/waist is a bit tight.

Worn open is fine though. But better to up size to 38. Sleeves are so much longer in 38 and 40

The condition of the jacket is very nice, barely any signs that it has been worn.

Wow! That Octagon leather is fantastic! The fit looks good, but if it’s uncomfortable, then you probably won’t enjoy wearing it.

Jacket looks great but it does not look very comfortable to wear for you.. there are these jackets that are so nice to look at, we just want to make them work.. this is one of those but truthfully, you probably need a size 38..

You don't look like you should be stop eating bagels and fries. Or like doing that is going to make it fit any better.

Sorry, this is one size too small.

The B is normally a very comfortable pattern, so if it feels restrictive that´s not a good sign. Also, hem/waist will not stretch, so better to size up on this one.
