I love EG, especially the old daiki suzuki era fall/winter wool stuff, I’ve had some items for almost 20 yrs now and I still wear them regularly.

I believe it´s telling to see this one next to my Himel Imperial. Both jackets share a lot of common features and I dare say they do fit exactly the same bill.
Questions like placment of the chest pocket, collar spread and other mini differences are subject to personal taste, of course (and have been debated "ad nauseam" in other parts), but both jackets qualify in the category, "Hand me one jacket for everyday use but make it in the juiciest hide imaginable", IMO.
