It fits like a Highwayman. (1950 style)
My HWM I have in a size 40 but the Montgomery I ordered in a size 42 it is a loose fit and I have a quilited lining for wearing it in wintertime.
I am 183 cm (6ft) 84kg (185lbs)
Thanks! So, a little oversized. That’s very helpful. Not many folks have these jackets, I love the square pockets.

Most unique Type III - I like it very much. The contrast stitching with a distinctive flare mid-way down. I checked the website and this is available in Blue only which is nice but the black appears more significant in comparison. The one on the site has lettering across the back yoke - is this standard? Thanks for posting.

So matchy-match jackets and motorbikes is it now?
That new wardrobe happened in jig-time ?
Or was this a long planned purchase ?
Lonely Beemer jacket hanging in the dark recesses of the spare room hangers ?
Just waiting for the Teutonic super sled to mosey past ?
This stuff is important dontcha know ?
Final request/question.
How DO you get all these past the "war-office"?

No its a recent purchase, spotted it on vinted UK at a price too tempting to miss.
Had it shipped to the village pharmacy, hence I was able to slide it into the collection unnoticed and no need to explain why I needed another jacket :).
Ps I thought every motorcycle enthusiast was partial to a wee bit of matching their attire, I used to love walking into the tea dance wearing my "i own a harley, not just a t- shirt" t-shirt, always went down well with the ladies. :)

Ha!

Having sold my Bonneville yesterday, I wonder if I can still get away with all my old Triumph t shirts?

'57 Heavy leather trucker today.
Goat from memory....
Taken on a "cool" day of 15C by our standards. It is the 2nd day of winter !
At one of the 1800's dams built 25Km's behind the metro area. In our hills region. Plenty of wildlife up here, kangaroos and parrot species.
We just had "a once in a generation" storm over last weekend.
Leaves and debris abundant.
Most damage and flooding south of the metro area.

For sure. Patches and shirts and stickers from any bike you’ve owned are always fair game! I've always liked the old Triumph tiger logo, and even though I longer own one a still regularly wear my Dickies jacket with a Triumph tiger patch.

The new schott springsteen jacket looks similar. Otr so returnable
I did consider that, though I’m in Canada, so with tariffs the Schott jacket would actually be more expensive, and I like the look of the aeros back and collar better.
If I could find one second hand that would be good, but not many people seem to have that style.

Yes, very subtle lettering, I honestly missed it when I 1st opened the package. The flare you mentioned is only on the womans jacket, lol i couldn't wear that :)
