The Flat Head Single Riders. Probably the most forgiving yet perfect looking jacket I have so far.

You just showed up and took over, looking sharp again.
Thank you. I have been lurking around here stealthily for about a year now :) picked up lot of details from all of your experiences shared here to get to patterns or leathers I would like and fit to my non-jacket style seamlessly.

I did have some “swing and miss” moments… see my for sale posts lol… I know better now like you all. Cheers!

He did it the right way - did his homework by reading TFL and then executed flawlessly. Unlike some (like me), who swung and missed more than scored...:)
Thank you, Will. Yes, TFL definitely helped to limit my mistakes to 2 jackets to be specific :) RMC Type G1, which does not feel right on me from any angle lol… And, Butterscotch Addict Tri, which is a nice jacket overall, but I’m not a lean guy or rider like Merv ;) the arms and armholes on it are just too narrow for me. It fits and looks fire! But not comfortable or very restrictive in movement. Can’t rub my nose… lol

Mine is a little tight in the arm holes too. But, they have opened up over time and it’s gotten better. Yours looks good on you. Besides scratching your nose is over rated …lol!

It was pretty tight… I wore it to go out for dinner one night (pic shared taken that day) and could barely strap my seat belt… almost sprained my shoulder. that’s when I knew it wasn’t right for me. I am at peace with it, and also knowing that it went to a great guy in California who rides a Ducati year long wearing it! It’s having a better life

Yes! The IR 8080s I believe were a Japan release, very rare. If I’m not mistaken- They also have the cork sole vs. the mini lug, which are more comfortable to wear.

The minilugs I've not yet tried; my IRs are the light tan colour (I'd call it amber, but I think that's what RW call their mid-brown colour) have the older-style cork sole. It's wearing well eight or so years in. I was disappointed when they switched to the lugs, though they look flat enough that it don't compromise the look.

It’s that time of year here when you need a jacket in the morning but it’s too hot after work. Unless you’re hopin on the bike with your best bud. I’m gonna try and wear the hell outta this 118 this year.

My dad had a couple of Urals years ago - one like this (but all black), and then later one without a sidecar that had body panels factory-modded to make it look a bit more like a Triumph of the era - though still with the Beemer style engine. No sidecar on the latter. Nice bikes. Sidecar on the black one was on the other side, being UK-based, though clearly not made specifically for that market (body shape and entrance-cutaway not changed, so more of a climb in when it was bolted to the other side of the bike). Rare beasts over here.
