Wow! Great memory Marc..

I’d totally forgotten about the brand on the left upper sleeve. It has definitely blended in to the jacket coloring but it is still there.

Bit of a change of pace for me here. I was on Holiday all last week in northern Wisconsin, and offline even to boot. The jacket I have on below is a new model for Duluth Trading - denim with some "stretch" material incorporated. Quite the game changer and very comfortable too. You would never know it till you tried it on. In fact a friend asked to try it out and was immediately impressed with the "stretch" material as well.

Photographs taken in one of my favorite places in Wisconsin - kept intentionally vague, as well, some solitude is exactly the point. :)

Pants are Red Clouds Collective waxed cotton double knee, and work great for hiking.

Just for fun, some of the surroundings:

That’s the way to do it, nice and easy.
Duluth make some nice pieces-I have a nice twill canvas vest from them. It’s nicely made and warm.

Thanks Edward, you are right it is Iron Ranger 8080 in black chrome leather View attachment 455408

Nice! I've only ever seen the matte / waxy finish. They look really sharp with that shine. I do like a workboot that can take a polish; sort of thing I'd be very quick to wear travelling for work. Very practical for all the getting on and off trains and strolling around another city, but still a bit tidier to wear to meetings and teaching.

Yes! The IR 8080s I believe were a Japan release, very rare. If I’m not mistaken- They also have the cork sole vs. the mini lug, which are more comfortable to wear.
