A lot of great stuff on this page. I don't do self portraits so just a jacket shot. It is only -6 C today so it is the Langlitz Timberline.

Truthfully-- your Timberline, which I always loved and looked at while planning my current Langlitz Timberline, and Ton321's appreciation of the Sidewinder fit, are the two things that pushed me over the edge to order another.
I am almost done my journey............

I miss the old Balorama. The new ones are not good and just don't feel the same like when I used to buy them regularly in the early 90's. They were heavier and far more robust. The new ones are plasticky in comparison.

What is that kudo leather like? Almost purchased one.

Not an easy thing to describe, but it feels very soft and velvety what i imagine deerskin or buckskin to feel like. (a Kudu is a deer type animal) Its fairly thick and heavy, there are usually markings and scars on it. The color of mine is gray with brownish undertones with the random marks and scars being black.
I like it, but I dont think it would ever be my first choice in a new jacket, most of my Aero jackets are from the sales page including this one

Came from Minnesota Sports shop made by Butwin. I don't know anything about Butwin other than well known Varsity jacket maker.

I feel like a Pirate. It was a good deal. I knew it was nice condition from the photos. The size is a plus for me in some ways other ways not so. Makes them harder to sell when they fit!

You'll never believe this: I've been wearing my Type II again today. And yesterday. And I'll be wearing it tomorrow too. The 30 day challenge would be an absolute walk in the park for me with this.

Yes, it fits, I was a little worried. Quite comfortable. A review later after some wear has elapsed. I just got it yesterday.
