I recently tried on an old Belstaff wax cotton trailmaster. It was so cool, and fit much better than my Barbour. If it weren’t for the smell, I would have bought it.

I recently tried on an old Belstaff wax cotton trailmaster. It was so cool, and fit much better than my Barbour. If it weren’t for the smell, I would have bought it.

I had a heavy waxed cotton Matchless Trial Master... it was so warm! Had to see it because it was slightly too big for me. I've never purchased / owned a Barbour jacket. What are they like?

Most annoying thing happened...to an A2. *****e stud fell off, & the cotton wrapped base is of a special technique. Wondering who can fix it.

I've succesfully super glued snaps like that back together again...A little glue around the male end and even less inside and it'll hold.

Thanks, man It's another Pausmith-365 purchase, infact the second jacket I purchased since this leather jacket thing started. He got it listed as a French WW2 horsehide barnstormer coat, but knowing his descriptions it could mean literally anything The leather is great and solid on the jacket, quite thick with a thick sheepwool lining.Will be great to test this when the weather gets really cold as today was a measly 2 celsius

Yeah, Buzz Rickson has some amazing ones. But vintage ones are hard to beat when I paid just 100£ for this one. The japanese are great at getting the designs right and choosing great leather.

Thankfully and mercifully I didn’t pay that much! The single breasted variant is cooler looking to me.
