Today....well, i finally got my first smudge on HD’s Antique Steer.
So....the honeymoon’s over and now i can wear the hell out of it!
Be well. Bowen
Ps: it sure photographs better outside!!
Another second skin!
How is it unzipped? I personally don’t care for my belt to be exposed and those certainly don’t look like low rise jeans...sometimes a short jacket is camouflaged a bit by just wearing it open. Sleeve length looks spot on as does the fit everywhere else. I wonder if JL cut the Worn out West jackets shorter at the vendors request...
Long time ago, back in the peace love dove lottsa flowers days...when something was very cool they used to say “tough”.Oh how I wish that it would grain....

Agreed. Its amazing how HD's jackets seem to find perfect 2d homes.
That’s damn near 6” shorter than I spec my jackets! That would sit well above my belly button. That’s insanely short. I’d have guessed it would be around 24” in back excluding the collar. Was that measurement disclosed when you bought it?I'll post a pic of it unzipped but I can tell you it's a size 40 and measures 22.75" from the bottom of the collar to the bottom hem.
Johnson Leathers M-200 for Worn Out West.
How's the length? These are not low-rise jeans.

I think that is stock. Four of my m200 models had a back length of 22.75 to 23.25I'll post a pic of it unzipped but I can tell you it's a size 40 and measures 22.75" from the bottom of the collar to the bottom hem.
This jacket is exceptional!!Bill Kelso Duke
It was mid 50s yesterday, so I did some pics. Today it is 10 and I'm reluctant to go outside.

The seller stated 24" length. Turns out the seller was including the collar.
Despite how it appears when unzipped, I do like my jackets to fit well when zipped. I may flip this one.

This technique will work for any horsehide? I'd like to speed up the graining on my Schott Perfecto.
Flip it if you can find someone that short waisted or a buyer who just doesn't mind looking odd. You could do much better. Why settle for something so obvious..??
