Thank you Captain. I was thinking about putting a brim binding on the hat that matched the hat band. A bone or sand color would look good with hat band and brim binding that match.

I will be making another fedora using a FEPSA buckskin color 120G weight 100% pure rabbit, I have decided on the color and I am thinking of 5.5" open crown with a single crease, 3" wide brim with binding, matching hat band and brim binding, coffee brown. I am having trouble with the hat size.
Does anyone have a suggestion?

Those proportions are going to look incredibly well-balanced on a larger head. Have you considered blocking it as a 7 3/8? Thinking for guys with bigger frames looking for a bold, classic shape. It will look great on them without feeling overwhelming.

Hi CJ,

I have thought about sizes from 7 1/4" up to 7 1/2", I just can't decide on a size for this FEPSA rabbit. A 7 1/2" would be a good size, the felt is 120G weight, with matching hat band and brim binding , I am also thinking about a coffee color leather sweatband for the hat.
I will wait to see if I get some more suggestions on the size & color combonations .
