Thanks. Whenever I'd find a vintage USA made all cotton bandanna at the flea or in thriftstore, I'd pick it up. Usually for a $1. (Back when the fleas and thriftstores were still open.) I have a small box full of them now. And they're really starting to come in handy.
Harley Sportster measurements:
Armpit to Armpit is 23”
Shoulder to Shoulder seam 19" inches,
Sleeve length- 25" inches long.
Base of neck to bottom of jacket on back: 25.5 inches
If you're interested PM me and I can send you photos and more info. Don't want to hijack this thread...;-)
I kind of like the flare- bell shape on the Sportsters...I have two in the size 44 that I'm keeping. They all have such distinct personalities. Got one in the size 46 that I'm selling if anyone is interested.
Seeing all these great shots of Crosszips renewed my interest in my meager collection…Found this early Cal Leather at a flea years ago. I call it the Beast, it’s by far the heaviest jacket I own- feels like armor when I put it on.
Very cool! Lots to love about this one- the diagonal chest pockets, the half-belt back on a motorcycle jacket. But that 21" back measurement would be a tough fit.
I do- I have a couple crosszip motorcycle jackets with a lapel collars if you're interested. A Cal Leather in an approximate size 42/44 and a horsehide Buco J27 "Style King."
Cheers.

Similar...but my Cal Leather has chest pockets instead of handwarmers, and is black. Interesting variation and very rare. But white leather jackets...
