Of special interest to @technovox , I picked up this cool Sportster racing shirt/jacket for a great deal on the ebay. Always liked the minimalist look of these, but never had a chance to try one on. Size 44, fits me just about perfect. I will have to decide if I’m keeping it for the long term, as one can only wear so many jackets. But I do like it. (Will include comparison pics with my size 44 Kehoe as well.)

They are nice, although the flare at the hips can be debated. I have two in size 42 which I can layer; still looking for a great deal on one in size 40 that would be closer fitting. Lately they have been pretty pricey on the bay, a mint size 40 together with pants went for about $500. The rest are north of that. Nice catch.

I kind of like the flare- bell shape on the Sportsters...I have two in the size 44 that I'm keeping. They all have such distinct personalities. Got one in the size 46 that I'm selling if anyone is interested.

I like them too. One feels like horsehide, although I cannot be sure. I found a flat book of matches from the seventies in the breast pocket of one! I have to say I miss an internal breast pocket for my wallet. I realize these were meant to be close-fitting racing shirts and not walk-around jackets.

I agree- I recently had one with an interior pocket (added by a tailor) and it was so much more versatile. Didn't fit, so I ended up selling.

I’m actually not sure of my chest measurement. But I’m 6’ about 185.
one of my favorite jackets ever!
i'm 6'1" 185 and have had these guys in 42 and 44 (and others) .. 42 works fine but is definitely the smallest i can go. your's looks great and if that's a 44 looks to me you could try a 42 to see which you'd prefer.
only one in my closet now is a 42 (p2p 22", shoulder 2 cuff 26", sh 2 sh 19)

I think the harley fit your hip better from the photo and the waisted part make it look slim and guides and minimize where the waist movement creases would happen, just like curved elbow does.

Have you ever seen a sportster with a round pull and this logo (rather than the white label)? IMG_4630.jpeg
