The original one came on yellowed, crumbling paper in a vintage panama I bought. Must've been handy back in 'hat check' days. Scanned it and color printed enough to go in all my hats! :)

Yes, the 100ish year old Montechristi which came to me in a hand made steel tube will probably go down as my personal hat score of a lifetime. Being the one who holds it for a few years doesn't shift any real credit to me...
My navy blue number is a Borsalino Trionfo and yes, I got it a couple or more years ago. I can see the reason for thinking it's a Playboy - seems it was B's competing model with very, very similar shape/style.

Went to a memorial service Saturday AM and chose to wear no hat. I like the little bit of cockiness a lid brings to my character and felt it was no place for that. It was the right call but very strange to be hatless outside of the house. It's been literally years.
