Agreed on the clip-on thing. I just bought my first bowtie, and i cannot wait to learm how to tie one. It really is just as simple as a necktie, i just don't do bowties. Sadly for school dances all the boys opt for clip-ons in tacky satin colors, like that pink one.- MondoFW

Have to agree with you on the ventilation thing. I love the design, but i fail to notice any effect. Was Sea Spray a well-known budget hat brand in its day? Have not seen any info on the maker. I may have to opt for a straw lid with a looser weave, so I'm not sweating bullets in the horrible... -

Wore my Sea Spray straw today. Whenever I wear it, i find my head sweats MUCH more than sans hat. Is it because the straw is bad? Doesn't seem to be doing much cooling! -
