Funny thing, I usually prefer single breasted, three button configuration when it comes to tweed jackets. Either config. could work, no one is gonna guffaw at what style the jacket is. I used the FL Dobbs dating thread. The details pointed to the hat being late 40s. The text on the sweatband is a sign, but maybe it extends to early 50s. Youre talking about a listing for a chocolate brown Dobbs, yes? -

Currently watching a late 40's Dobbs Game Bird, on eBay. I've seen posts about this on the Lounge--Can anyone vouch for the quality of the Game Bird hats of this era? I have heard good things about Dobbs hats generally. -
