Looks great, Andy is very accommodating with customisations. I recently took ownership of a russet Liberty horse hide jacket from BK, you are gonna love the hide it really is something special:)
I am very fickle, if some one says leave it I go with that but then along comes a few positive comments and I change my mind again!
Hey Don Tomasos i'm 50 too is that why this jacket appeals?
I now recall I had a suede jacket from a company called The Territory Ahead, a USA company, similar to...
Seems general consensus is no then. I remember having a pair of Hush Puppies in suede that tended to loose it's suedeness and turn shiny and leather like with wear. Shame as the design is one that appeals to me but not the colour I must say. Thanks for your input, was not expecting as many...
Hi guys
What do you think of Aero's newest offering, a 1950's college jacket in suede? I like the simple design. Looks to be a nice easy wear jacket for the warmer months. I have never owned a suede jacket and wonder how it might wear with time. What about staining? I believe/imagine it to be...
Have studied, read & reread #1 post and I still don't get it. Every now and again you can come across a post like this, kinda adds an interesting dimension to the forum me thinks
Perhaps I am a little odd but I like the new shiny look and enjoy wearing it and watching it develop at its own pace. Its the reason I buy them. If I wanted a faded, stone wash look then i'd go to the high street (Mall). Sorry just don't get all this washing it business.
As far as my one and only veg tanned jacket is concerned it has no depth of colour or marbling effect you get with the Aero FQHH. It does and already has started developing a lovely grainy patina though. Best by one of each to be on the safe side:)
Cannot comment on the Vinceza leather but I have a BK Liberty (veg tanned hide also from Italy) that is markedly different from my Aero FQHH. Neither one is "better" than the other but as has already been said just different. The BK hide is much lighter, more grainy and has what I would describe...
What a stunning jacket and the fit is very likely the best fitting jacket I have seen. I do not have a black jacket or ever really fancied one but yours is causing me to reconsider. Beautiful.
My first Aero HWM came with the larger chunky zipper and was a breeze to zip-up. My more recent HWM replacement came with the new tiny Talon zipper that I found a pain to engage and zip-up. It a little better now that its bedded in and had some use. It does IMO look much nicer than the bigger...
Looks great Dav. Sleeves look fine. Amazing how the leather from BK looks so broken-in from the off, guess it must be the nature of veg tanned hides. Should get some more wear soon with Spring coming around the corner.
That's a great jacket Flashheart, good fit too. I have always fancied this type of jacket for the winter but feel this style looks best on taller, broader guys. How tall are you may I ask?
Enjoy your jacket, its a beauty
Nicki, I see what you are getting at, no need for apologies. perhaps I was being a bit unfair. Of course you want to share a little good feeling/vibe to those less fortunate. I get that. I am guessing that perhaps you are younger than me and there for likely full of hope and dreams of a better...
Sorry but this thread just gets sillier, why on earth would a wounded soldier want a leather jacket?! Surly priority must be health care, both physical and mental, followed by employment.
I do not know anyone who is into leather jackets or has ever expressed an interest in them after seeing me in mine. I am kinda glad really as it only adds to that "special" feeling one has when wearing a cool/expensive jacket. besides last thing I want is to see every other guy with one on!
I do...
Hi Guys, well I failed again!! Tried downloading from my computer but FL says images too large. Tried Imgur as suggested by vespizzare and managed to open an account and download pics but what the hell do you do from there? The language used by the computer leaves me baffled and stressed. Pics...
Looks good , love the dark brown, length looks fine to me not short at all. I have the regular HWM also in the darkest brown, can't say I can see that yours is any slimmer fitting than my supposedly boxier fit.
Not keen on the 70's collar though.
Enjoy.
