Hi and thank you all for the information, a lot to get my head around but i'll give it a go. Rocketeer, this has been a problem for me in the past, down load lasts ages then fails. How do you resize pics? I am sure this has been stumbling block in the past.
Cheers
Hi
I find myself once again in need of help posting pics. My new BK Waldo Pepper arrived this week and I would love to post some pics of it. Last May I tried posting pics of my then new Aero HWM but failed even with a lot of hand holding by members here. Despite that failure I want to try...
Hi, my HWM is a 36" and a 24.5" back length. I am around 5.5ft slim build. jacket falls 1/2" below the belt line, perfect. Nothing worse than a too short a jacket in my opinion.
Yes agree fit looks good. Shoulders look nice and trim, not droopy. Bit of self interest here, where were you on the list of jackets to be made as posted by BK on face book?
Holly at Aero once sent me some Copydex glue (you can buy it online) to do a minor repair on my jacket. Seems to work very well and is clean and easy to use. Not sure how temporary it is though.
I remember buy a nice suede jacket from an American Company called Territory-A-Head. I was quite disappointed when I got it to see it was made in China and I told them so!
Fingers crossed i'll have my Waldo Pepper (Liberty Russet HH, with Bronco collar instead of the original, dark tan liner, golden brown nits and honey buttons, light olive thread) from BK before Xmas.
Thanks Zhz,
I asked as BK just informed me the estimated delivery of my jacket has now been delayed due to me asking for a slight adjustment to the sleeve length! So I may get it in December rather than November. Put my order/payment in beginning October. So disappointed and tired of waiting...
I have an Irvin with the shorter shearling and that's plenty warm enough for the coldest weather the UK has to offer. Unless its very cold where you are I would avoid too long a shearling as likely to be too warm and the jacket will spend most of its life in your wardrobe.
I also find this hard to understand in fact its beginning to make my blood boil reading this thread and seeing they have time to punt for new business on Facebook but cannot get round to replying to emails about emails I sent about a supposed November delivery!!
No apologies needed, I was being light hearted. I enjoyed your post and can totally identify with it. Often think about my very first "proper" bespoke jacket I had and sold on as it was a tad small but oh what a lovely jacket it was. Hugs all around for our past losses.
