so around 6 months ago lady luck blessed me with a new Aero jacket, the 'Outlander'. Aero ran a competition on their instagram page, with the prize being a sample Outlander and yours truly won it. I know, I couldn't believe it either. But wait, it gets better........the jacket fits pretty much perfect, which was a long shot. A couple of other odd things to note. I worked on seasons 1&2 of the TV show Outlander. Furthermore I had been curious about sheepskin jackets for a while - although I never would have got around to buying one, it was an itch. Well Autumn is here and I am finally getting to wear this beauty in the real world.........my new favourite Aero jacket, what ya'll think?
Looks like more pictures are needed :p

I really like the Outlander. Once you put it into the real world, I think it looks so much better than the military sheepskins.
I have the prior version for the same reason. Can't get excited about worn and dirty hem or cuffs and prefer a less busy appearance. I understand that some revere military provenance but I've never had that experience.

Congrats to breezer on a very nice bit of luck!

Forgot to post this earlier, but I went with my "favorite of the month-jacket" my vintage 20s German MC-jacket, very old, very cool, very European haha, I love it.

Today was a LW Rigger in russet. It's a surprisingly comfortable and easy jacket to move around in. Looks great dressed up or down. Today w/ a white LS button down, Levi's and Wesco harness boots. It is a jacket that gets compliments.

Looks great. What’s even more noticeable: YOU look great! You must be down something like 15kg or thereabouts.
Thanks Tom! I’ve lost 31lbs so your estimate is scarily accurate! I feel much better. Was pushing 220 this past year and it was a burden. I was on a year long dirty bulk fueled largely by black beer. I am blasting a glp1, eliminated all empty calories and have been pushing very hard in the weight room where I work. This is the best I’ve felt since the late 90’s!

I have never been able to do a decent job moderating my portions. I can eat 6 pork chops, a box of rice and a bag of broccoli, washed down by 4 pints without hesitation. My brain has never adjusted to no longer being an athlete so the glp1 helps tremendously with portion control. And beer tastes like a wine cooler now so I don’t even want it.
