Al's a beast.

Picked this CHP up recently and almost feels like NOS. Zippers are smooth. Fresh smell. Hardly any fades on the leather, real soft, and the grain. Back panel looking glorious!

Classic early fall dog hike. First 45 minutes I’m cold and regretting not wearing a heavier base. Second 45 minutes I feel pretty good. Third 45 minutes I’m living in a sauna and sweating my a$$ off regretting my impractical choice.

Barbour never gets any love here. Maybe because they’re the anti leather. Shapeless and roomy. So easy. Completely practical. About this time every year Barbour and leather battle for my soul like love and hate .

Been out of the loop for sometime now. Had some setbacks and was thankful I had my leather collection to liquidate when I needed it most. I still have 2 jackets and recently discovered I like club style vest for riding . This First MFG is my current one., good naked cowhide and overall well built.

Boots are made by Celine. One of the few designer brand purchases I don't completely regret from my early days of style exploration. Both of these came from Hedi Slimane (the designer). He knows how to make a nice boot.

Shout out to Schott. They released some interesting studded belts recently. Had been looking for something like it so was glad to pick one up.

First custom Johnson Leather. They really nailed this type II style. A slightly different shade of blue on the second batch of washed Maryam horsehide I ordered but I like it just as much.

Man, I’m loving these chilly early mornings. The Double Helix auto revolution has an amazing pattern. A long heavy jacket that you forget you’re wearing. The arm holes are lower and wide with slightly wider biceps. You could actually work in this coat.

66 degrees this morning. Finally cool enough to throw on one of my flight jackets and walk around outside! Jacket weather is finally getting close here.
