Buon pomeriggio a tutti qui in Italia fa ancora molto caldo qui nella mia città 37°C ......per adesso guardo con avidità le mie giacche ma farò una forzatura e una foto per TFL aspettando il fresco autunno nella mia Modello B in octagon

Great photo; super jacket!

Would you like us to guess, or are you going to share the maker?
Thanks! It’s been my favorite jacket lately—I get compliments on it left and right IRL. It's the Our Legacy Mini Jacket - it’s a fashion brand, but they actually take a really solid approach to quality (Italian veg-tanned top-dyed cowhide, heavy-duty Lampo zipper, high-quality lining materials, and corduroy accents).
At the same time, it maintains a really flattering silhouette with a larger collar, broader shoulders, wider sleeves, and just the right crop (though it can be a bit too boxy for some people). The leather is incredibly supple and beautiful in person.

Today I tried these 2 that just arrived, oh boy! You guys weren’t kidding about thick goat, I’m impressed, I hadn’t tried it because I’m not really into overly shiny leathers but in this matte dark green color it doesn’t bother me at all.

And honestly I don’t know which one I like best, both fit just as I was expecting, the twin peaks almost feels like nos, and the mulholland has just enough wear to get the grain popping and not be overly stiff, but still not molded to a wearer and doesn’t even have significant sleeve rolls.

But honestly I don’t know which one I like best, this was more than a home run in my book, both fit exactly as I expected, the twin peaks almost feels like nos, and the mulholland has just enough wear to get the grain popping and not be overly stiff, but still not molded to a wearer or have significant sleeve rolls or elbow pop.

Very, very cool. Who's the maker of the jacket on the left?

It looks superb and you look very cool in it.

That's the jacket that lots of people said would be terrible isn't it, when you posted your thread debating buying it?

I'm really pleased you love it!

Yes, it is! I don't want to push the brand on anybody (it's terribly overpriced at retail—at that price, I wouldn't buy any jacket). I just wanted to share how cool the jacket turned out to be. I wanted to provide some fresh perspective, and it might be an unpopular opinion here, but IRL it just works. Although I have to say, many people here were very positive and helped me with the decision (for example, pointing out that traditional brands won't provide that cut), which I'm very grateful for!

As I posted in that infamous other thread after you posted the first snap, it does look good. What surprises me is how long and fitted it looks on you for a jacket that looks almost cropped and baggy on most pictures on the web; didn't you say you were like 6'2 and very lean? Still not sure how the sizing on these works..

Oh, I'm actually bigger than that—almost 6'4" and today I weigh in around 215 lbs. I think it just shows how small the models in the ads are nowadays; the jacket ends up fitting them differently. But it is a boxy jacket and it is cropped. And I didn't do any tricks for the camera other than turning away my head—my wife just snapped one photo

While our Extreme heat warnings are set to end this evening, it's still going to be quite a bit too warm to consider a jacket at all for at least the next week again:

New York is continuing to be much too warm as well, sadly. That has not stopped me from getting a "head start" during the evenings and breaking in the new jackets wearing them for about 30-45 minutes at a time, which is as long as I can do so without melting. It hasn't helped that the humidity has been high for the past week or so.
