Sorry for over posting this jacket, but I’m in love with it! DH again running errands.

Thank you kind sir. The photos don’t really do it justice. It’s even more impressive in person.
Would love to see it in the flesh, as you can't really capture the "essence"(in lack of better words )of a leather jacket in a photo :) also, the smell of some quality leather really adds to the whole experience, and that are super hard to get via a photo(some would say impossible even) xD

Cheers!

I agree completely. It is difficult to capture the essence, especially without the beautiful smell. Although I’ve noticed some people on this forum are significantly better at it than I am. With all our fancy technology these days, you’d think we could do something equivalent to the old scratch and sniff with our photos! Lol.

Ben Sherman "Moto" jacket for today's motorcycle ride. Zip sleeves,6 pockets.
Steerhide, made in Pakistan, not Schott or Vanson quality but still good.
Should get more love as it's my preferred black straight zipped style.
With our winter coming on it will do.

I prefer the snaps as well! This is a 42” and I can barely close it with a t shirt. It won’t close with anything else. I wanted it tight but I think a 44” would be the better size if I intended to close it. I’m up to 215lbs right now and pretty thick.

I agree. A trucker needs to be short and slim, but too tight is too tight. I always thought, I’d be a 42 in this, but this makes me reconsider.

How is the mobility when zipped?
It’s pretty good but not as good as my Lewis Leathers Dominator or Vanson Ike (neither of which have an action back.). It’s not uncomfortable, but would probably be better with an action back. I’m guessing this would differ per individual depending on the overall fit of the jacket.

Speaking of amazing jackets. That’s your first leather jacket? Looks like you hit a home run! It looks fantastic on you. Is it an Aero Highwayman?
Thank you! That's confidence-boosting. It's a new world for me. This forum led me to Rugged West Co., which was recommended as a good place for a newcomer to start. Leilah, the proprietor, guided me to a good (non-custom) fit. Very happy so far (and I can see how an addiction can start).

That’s great! You got a really nice fitting jacket. Well done indeed.
