It’s looking glorious already! Excited to see the progression on this one.Haven’t been able to take this one off. I’ve been wearing it inside the house in the mornings and evenings trying to get as much break in time as possible before it heats up here.

This looks amazing already. It something fits me that well I wouldn't want to take it off either.....
Thank you all for the kind feedback!Thank you gentlemen! I think the wax finish adds a nice quality/pop to the grain on this black leather. Speaking of nice leather though @JonS1967 what an absolute home run you've got with that hugging the curve....leather, fit, everything really is spot on!
@Tom71 I think that fits you just right. Was it hard to zip up?
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. I finally received the custom Aero Cafe racer black cxl Steer! if you guys recall I bough a used one of cxl fqhh which was slightly too tight and short in the body and sleeves so decided to order a custom 1 size up and longer body with added 1 inch front drop, the jacket is amazing! but the pit to pit ended up bigger than expected was told the range will be 22-22.5 from thurston and average 21.5 from aero directly so after discussing with carrie at thurston we figured it should be 21.5-22.5 max which I hoped to be as close to 21.5 since all my jackets are 21-21.5 but it came at 23 and pretty much every measurement except the sleeve and back length which came at the requested size was bigger than expected.
all things considered it surprisingly looks like the extra inches don't affect the fit like I though since to my eyes the fit is almost perfect (the back I think the extra material causes it to bunch more than the used aero I have) what do you guys think of the fit? and do you think the back will settle down and bunch up less and be more flush like the used aero after some time? will add some side by side comparison pictures. the one on the left is the used smaller aero size 36 on the right the new size 38
the expected measurements vs what I received
pit to pit 21.5-22.5 ended up being 23
shoulders 18-18.25 ended up being 18.75
back 25 ended up being 24.75 (in the 0.5 wiggle room range) + 1 inch front drop
hem 18.5-18.75 ended up being 19.5
sleeve 24 as expected, after wearing it for just a few minutes and rolls formed its closer to 23.5 which was expected and those rolls are amazing!
