Flipping channels while watching some NFL. :D

I did that for most of yesterday afternoon. My God there are a lot, a real lot, of commercials during these games. Found it hard to stay with the games because of that: three downs, punt, commercial, three downs, punt, commercial, 9 play scoring drive, extra-point, commercial, kick-off, commercial (oh, come on, that one is a real killer especially as - in the Denver game - all the kick-offs were touchbacks).

Finally finished a three-week binge of all five seasons of Breaking Bad...

Going to take me a while to decompress from that awful, but great, mess of a show. :eusa_clap

more NFL tonight. Commercials make me really appreciate channels like TCM.

Is anyone watching Fear the Walking Dead? The show is not living up to its predecessor at all.

I was entertained enough in the first two to at some point watch the third. So far it isn't nearly as good as the TWD, but I expected that. I am hoping that once we get to know the characters, it will become more enjoyable and we will care if they live or die. Right now, I am wishing for way too many of them to become dinner.

Yeah I've watched em all. VERY underwhelmed. It seems to me with DECADES of Zombie lore out there folks would be quicker to "catch on" even the government can't be THAT dim. Ruben Blades character is great. An older man who's lived through the carnage of El Salvador in the Regan years... he's their best and only hope! The rest... , particularly that junkie son.... make em hash I say!

Fear The Walking Dead lost me half-way through the second episode when I realized that the main characters were just too irritating for words. It was pretty slow, but I expected that. One does have to develop some empathy with the characters, however. Just wasn't happening. Looking forward to new season of Walking Dead.
