What was the last TV show you watched?

[jamespowers]

Yes. Get on it! :whip:

Have you? Aside from Matt Houston?

(2) her character was, at her core, crazy - so no decision she makes has to make sense.

The crazy one is Rose who was obsessed with Charlie though she had also stalked Alan and later Walden at different times.

She isn't just crazy, she's orbiting-a-different-planet crazy. Lindsey is just normal, earth-bound crazy. Rose only visits earth when her orbit is in retrograde.

[Mister Cairo]

Sherlock, series one, episode three where we meet Moriarty. One of the creepiest portrayals I've ever seen.

Hands down, the best episode was, when Martin Sheen, showed up as Rose's father!

Watched a couple of episodes of "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour:"

The first, "The Hangover" has Tony Randall playing an alcoholic advertising exec whose alcoholism is destroying his marriage and his career - think TV's "Mad Men" meets "The Lost Weekend." This was a powerful episode - doesn't shy away from the destruction that alcoholism can bring nor the soullessness that some in advertising feel - that argues that not all TV was fluff back in the early '60s.

The second one, "An Out for Oscar," has Larry Storch playing a shy bank teller who marries a manipulative gold-digger down on her luck. Once again, punches aren't held back - plenty of human nature's not-pretty side is on display and there is a very neat trick at the end.

I chuckle when after a perfect crime or murder is committed in one of these episodes - and it is clear that the person got away with it - Hitchcock always come on to tell us that the police finally caught up with him or her. It is so clear that this is done for the sensors (real or social pressure at the time), but that the real story is how it ended before Hitchcock come one.

Sherlock is one of the finest series I've ever watched, period. It's incredible in every aspect. No wonder it turned ***berbatch into a huge star.
