I saw a show on PBS last night about Edward VIII's Nazi connections. I forgot what it was called, but it was a good show. It was rather interesting.

I watched the first episode of "Manhattan" yesterday.
Nice clothes but don't know if I will watch the second episode.

I've watched them all, and have to say that I really like it. And I'm not easily impressed. It seems period correct, and the story has bits of real life and fiction. And the guy who plays Robert Oppenheimer is spot on.

I was disappointed when they cancelled the series. That show was well written, and hilarious.

So far, impressed with The Honorable Woman. Sundance has some quality original programming. Rectify is good as well, though they do need to get the story moving along here. They struggle with moving slowly in time while speeding through new experiences. It would be nice if they sped up and slowed down respectively.

Sad to hear that Mythbusters is going back to the original formula and dropping, Kari, Tory and Grant. I did not like them at first, but now I like the comedy they bring to the show, makes science fun! Also, has it really been 10 years?

Hippies could not afford those custom vans. The big airbrushed marijuana leaf mural on one side would break them! Incidentally, I hate vans with a passion! I had one plow into me in the 70s while I was sitting there on my motorcycle.

I had the most unpleasant experience of having to drive a big green Dodge van for a place that I worked for briefly in the 70's. I still have nightmares! :eeek:
