I remember him (Offerman) from the home makeover show, Mix It Up back around 2005. He was the carpenter for the show. Not only was he good at whatever he made, he was incredibly funny.

Yeah, they don't include the fact that he pays a percentage at the auction when they tally his earnings. It is pretty much a given that he will lose money at an auction so why does he keep doing it? Must be for ratings.
