What was the last TV show you watched?

I'm enjoying all the period cars . I never realized that people back then kept their cars
so shiny new...
Although some scenes are slightly predictable, nevertheless it is an entertaining comic book/science fiction

The monstrous two-toned (yellow and red) taxi that is in almost every "Agent Carter" NYC street scene is gorgeous in all its outrageousness. I started coming into NYC in the late 60s / early 70s as a young kid and the Checker cab was the avatar of cab excellence and size then, but the one in "Agent Carter" looks bigger.

What ever was on PBS or the History Channel perhaps? TV died in 1999, never got cable after that and I receive no channels. If it aint on DVD, it's new to me

The 1946-48 DeSoto should have it's image on the Hollywood sidewalk at Grauman's
for best acting or costume design...

^^^^^ I think that'd stop a bullet or three.... Not sure about how much it had under the hood though... They made cabs bright so they could be seen and hailed from a distance... And the color schemes so regulars could stay with the company they liked. I love it!

The Big Burn: American Experience. The 1910 forest fire that burned 3 million acres of Idaho and killed 86 people! It was terrible on so many levels. When the 25th Infantry Division, of Buffalo Solders turned up at the town of Avery, they were meant with the most vile language, both in the news papers and on the streets. They got the last laugh when they set a back fire and saved the town! The sad part was after the fire. The federal government would not even pay to bury the men who died fighting the fire and they would not compensate those that were permanently injured, some who died years afterwords do to their wounds!

Older Son Hood had us watch Better Call Saul: I guess if you know BB, it's fun and cool. Not having seen the antecedent series, I'm not that interested.
Binge watching Agents of SHIELD. They used Eric Koenig's name for a humorous agent; they're recycling all sorts of Silver Age characters and names, which is cool, but die hard purists as myself must flinch when references are... ah... misapplied.

BATMAN At last the old Tv series is out on DVD, never thought I would see it. My Mrs bought it for me as a present.

I finally received my Batman DVD box set today. I've been watching the reruns on IFC on the weekends lately and discovered I don't like the show quite as much as I used to, so I was waiting for the price to come down a bit.

I have to be in the absolute right mindset to enjoy the show; otherwise, its campiness and repetitive plots turn me off. But on the right day, I can get into a few silly episodes. And Commissioner Gordon is always a good example of tradition Brooks Brothers natural-shoulder suit dressing.
