Yes...Nate is decent...Callan is decent. Thats -it- for decent -characters- that they bothered to actually develop at all.

and McGee actually knew how to run the screen-geek-toy.....which I am very sorry absolutely CANNOT be said for Mr. Cool J, who looked like he had not a single clue.....very uncomfortable with it. So yes...go McGee (who is my favorite anyhow)

LD, was referring to your comment on Draper in post #629. (Although if psychiatric issues are the case, if the audience is supposed to relate to him he needs some time with a shrink or something else to illustrate what's going on.)
The other possibility is that he's meant to illustrate that you can have all the "stuff" in the world and still have nothing at all where it counts; you might call him a "hollow man" for his emptiness inside.

I get what youre saying, but I dont think the character or the writing warrants or even deserves that deep an analysis.There is not root to it, no core thread that keeps us connected to him.

Im not talking about the innuendo of discussion that can make people believe the leap from episode to episode, Im talking about the bulk content of the show and only that which is presented to us (the viewer) and there is nothing there.

Frankly, they didnt leave much open for a second go anyway. But its a fun ride.

I dont know if you can credit Whedon for ALL of it. He didnt write/direct the last eps.

Even though it was on Sunday, I DVR'ed and just watched the latest episode of "Breaking Bad" on AMC. What a great show. But I will say, at times I find it to be a little like AMC's other big show, Mad Men. Great stories, but can be a bit slow and plodding. I understand both shows are character based, but sometimes I just need an explosion or something.

Fair point but Dollhouse is far from canceled. That was my only point.

Hopefully this time around Fox will realize that Joss's shows need a season to get their sea legs. Buffy's first season was by no means spectacular but the later ones are TV history.

Wow! "Bachelor Father"! Used to watch that back in the day and I remember reading an article at the time showing about how the girl on that show had so many freckles that they used some kind of filter and special light that made them invisible on the TV screen. It awakened an interest in technology and qualities of light for me. Thanks for reminding me.
