I haven't worn this in anger yet, but I just picked up this mackinaw/barnstormer style jacket. NOS, still with the tags.

It's a pseudo-repro from the Gap, from 2007 if I'm reading the label correctly.

And it's amazing. Warm as anything with an onion quilt lining, storm cuffed sleeves and a belt too, which is done up round the back in these pictures.

More fuel for my eventual High Street Heroes thread.

No, these Caps are different types. The "Bergmütze" has 2 ventilation rivets, a leather sweatband inside and brown buttons. A normal M43 doesn´t have these signs.

After all these years, the only leather jacket I have left is a trucker, from Gap.

I think mine is brilliant, but yours outclasses it in every metric.

I thought you sold your Gap trucker. Or did you have two?

Yeah, this jacket definitely surpasses my Gap trucker, which is itself a decent jacket.

I sold one but bought another in a smaller size. The fit now is amazing.

Just got a new seal brown goat post-war civilian A2 from Lost Worlds. Great jacket and took about 2 weeks from order to delivery.

Had one of these second hand a few years ago that was too small. Very happy to now have a properly fitting in the collection.

It's the 25th anniversary one, and thanks, I love it, its getting and gonna get a lot of wear this winter,between the grand my EN-1 which is for when its seriously cold.

You can't get to much of a great thing really, at least not great fitting leather jackets(in my book hehe) so please keep the pictures coming mate! I for one will be here enjoying seeing it again and again

How would you rank the grizzly for cold temps? In-between simple wool lined leather jacket and a "full-on shearling" like a B-6/B-3/N-1?
