In your vast collection of jackets this is one of my favorites. The boots are also killing it.
thanks man I recommend the 370 duke to anyone I once saw a YouTube video with one of or members here and gentlemen from shcott and they really nailed it when they said this jacket can go with absolutely anything I can think of much that I would not go great with and its not super heavy side note my girl got me this jacket we went to schott together seems like school prices along with all other makers keep sky rocketing

I know it comes oiled out the box but I got it with nano coating helps more with rain and does not change the color at all
I've read that putting a waterproof coating on a leather jacket is a mistake as it should be allowed to "breathe", so I have been on the fence for some time about doing so.

I figure my "regular" leather jackets can get a little wet without an issue - just hang them up to air dry and they should be fine, so it's more of a question for my roughout.

When I dribbled some water on the 375BP it beaded off, so I think Schott might have put a waterproofing/coating on it at the factory when they made it.

What was the nano-coating product you applied?

How would you rate it against the JL moss roughout?

I want a thick roughout civilian type chp, not sure if suede could be thick enough, I was thinking dark green and considering a custom JL, how is your moss roughout wearing in?

I’m wondering if it gets any sun fade, if it’s rigid from the get-go then loosens up just a bit or does it get soft eventually, and how does rubbing affect its color or texture.

I’ve never owned a traditional roughout jacket, only suede and a oiled reverse horse coat that is super smooth, soft and drapey and I doubt that’s the same as traditional roughout.

If that olive 375 was available in xs I’d consider it though.
The Jl moss is twice as thick without a question so if you are looking for heavy duty it’s not even close even the pink cafe racer they made me in rough out is twice as thick but when you just want to throw something on be comfy and look good the 370 all the way and something about this color just gets me also don’t get me wrong the Jl is super comfy I’m just talking about weight

This is the jl
I like the color range in this shot that has direct light on it, but assuming it looks darker most of the time.

I can see by the pull tab that it’s camo on the smooth side, that would be a nice choice for an unlined jacket.
