What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Not so much wearing as “trying on” this Vanson Venturi riding jacket I got in the mail today. It’s mesh leather with several closable vents, and with armor in the elbows, shoulders, and back. It’s billed as a summer jacket, but I think the leather is too heavy for me for the summer. It seems like the vents would help a fair amount, but I just want a lighter jacket for hot weather riding. That said, it certainly seems like a well designed and well-made jacket overall.
First pic of me, following pics from Union Garage’s website (the jacket is exclusive to them).

Nice jacket.

Just a couple of hot weather riding possibilities:

Vanson also make a fully perforated leather jacket, the Drifter Perforated Leather Jacket, model #DRV2 F150. I have a very similar Dainese Nera72 perforated leather jacket that I really like. I wear it all the time during the summer, and wore it exclusively on my 17 day ride to/from Sturgis last summer. Temps were up around 100ºF for most of the trip.

You may have heard of the Klim Marrakesh Jacket. I've never owned one, but apparently they're very breathable, and great for hot humid weather... at least from the reviews that I've seen. People seem to love them.

Knox also makes some nice hot weather motorcycle gear. I have an Urbane Pro that flows air like there's no tomorrow, but I'm not terribly fond of the snug fit. I have mine up for sale.

I have an Urbane Pro too, which I wear either as an underlayer or as a protective jacket on its own. I like the snug fit, because if I'm choosing to have armour I want it to stay where I put it. I like it a lot for its versatility.

I also have a Revit Crosby jacket for warm weather. Textile so wev, but the fit is excellent, it looks like a regular jacket and it's got several sneaky vents for airflow in hot weather.
