Just picked up this 2006 U.S. Authentic A-2 off eBay. The dark russet goatskin is lightweight yet substantial, has nice drape and excellent construction. Fit is spot-on.
In sunlight the brown is a true russet shade and on a dark, rainy day the brown looks more dark-seal in color.
U.S. Authentic use a very thick yet soft cotton lining which feels almost like moleskin; very nice!
Jacket has the basic look and detailing of a standard WWII A-2 yet it also has a comfortable, casual feel. This is exactly what I was looking for (not bad for $100!).
