It has definitely improved! Been spraying it with water regularly and just wearing it a lot. It does look pretty good now, if you don’t inspect it closely. Close up, there are the visible pores which looks pretty horrible.

I can understand your frustration mate, I've been eying the jacket Brad Pitt wears in "Once upon a time in Hollywood / Wrangler 124MJ/24MJ if I' remember right" and the main reason I've not pulled the trigger is exactly this reason haha.
But I must say the jacket looks amazing on you mate, fit seems like a real winner and I really like the wash
