That is a fine thing. I like their jackets and I really like their selection of hides. Mine all 'wear'/'hang' totally differently to my Aeros - not in a better or worse way, but the fits are different. My Klondike in black goatskin is really comfortable. The V2 in mahogany steer is also much lighter-feeling than its weight suggests. What hide is this?

This is the "unfinished" horsehide from the Conipel-tannery in Italy. It is a vegetable-tanned horsehide that starts off as a pale pink/white colour but rapidly darkens in natural light (but also rapidly picks ups stains from water, dirt, insects etc.).

It´s pretty substantial, but much less stiff than Aero´s CXL HH. Iron NHeart´s "Pale Rider" shirt/shacket is made from the same hide. It´s really a great leather if you can life with something that is ever changing.

Haven’t taken this off. I won’t spam but it deserves at least one halfway decent pic. It reminds me of a sawed off peacoat done up in mega heavy suede. And I am in love with it.

Spam that thing! I bet that 7lbs feels like 2 with all the lift that collar is generating in the Windy City. Ton’s jackets don’t have collars, they have aerofoils.. and it’s glorious.

Red Kap work uniform jacket. I bought this jacket probably in 1989 on a street corner in Atlanta, at a burned out gas station not far from the Federal Pen (and not far from the late lamented Harold’s barbecue!). There was a one-eyed woman selling racks of already well used workwear, and I got this jacket for three dollars. Have worn it probably thousands of times since then… Still going strong. I love it!
