I ask my nephew to take my pics sometimes. He can’t make me look good at all. Mrfrown has a good one there. You’ve got staff now! Where do I apply?

Breaking in a brand-new FiveStar 1937-contract H.L.B. A-2 in russet horsehide (early Christmas present to myself). Love the fit, materials and construction. View attachment 660618

Glad you like it! I'm happy someone is getting use out of it.The Bill Kelso Durable is superbe. Absolutely thrilled with this one!
Really beautiful coat - festive but restrained at the same time. Is this an older acquisition or might it be available online. I also liked an earlier posting of a lighter colored jacket with a really distinctive design.
Thanks a bunch! That coat is approx. 10 years old and was part of the Thomas Kay collection. He was the founder of Pendleton way back in 1863 and the collection presented Pendleton's very first designs.Really beautiful coat - festive but restrained at the same time. Yes..I’m glad he did happily take the original contract (1969) Martin Lane Co. G1 that I found in mint condition at the thrift store a couple weeks ago tho. He said he would wear it. he will eventually get my Aero Bronco as well. He has 2 little boys that will someday get the jackets I hope.Drzdave58 hopefully someday he'll want it just 'cause its dads jacket. I'm still trying to find out specs of granddads 30s horsehide (subsequently worn by pop} since the original is long gone, and I'd at least like to get an homage if not the original.
