Now that's what I call a worn jacket. That's how it should be. Very cool.My first post here in four years of reading the forum, lol.
Nice to see everyone, especially the main regulars.
This is my favorite aero premier 1930s highwayman in midnight blue horsehide. Stunning leather! This jacket is already five years old. It has been my main one in autumn and winter for three years. The fit is certainly not perfect, but only MrProper can boast of perfection here, huh.
I also have schott 618 in black hh and schott p653 in burgundy hh. I like to wear jackets so that over time there is a good visible effect of wear.
Over the years of reading the forum and my experience, I realized that I love super heavy leathers, so someday I want to get a lost world jacket, I think these should be the best jackets in the world.
Have a nice day everyone!

Nice jacket, good outfit.
As to LostWorlds, one word re managing your expectations. The jackets by a large are far less heavy than Stu tries to make you believe, especially compared to the heavier examples of Aero‘s CXL HH.
LW jackets are great in their own right, and the hides are perhaps my all time favourites, so you won’t go wrong.
I came to LW after owning several really heavy Aero and SB jackets and was surprised how lightweight my LW Ryder felt in comparison. And I did request a “heavy hide” in my order.
These days “lightweight” has become “versatile”, of course…
I have a question about the color of the lost worlds horsehide. If I want to get a strong patina and fade. Are there any options? Or will the black remain black, like schott, for example.
In fact, as I understand it, there are very few combinations where the leather is both heavy and capable of fading and patina. Horsehide or steer, doesnt matter.
