Is this allowed here? Is Abercrombie denim forbidden on TFL? Please don't ban me. I'm new.

I poked around Ebay, and just as I've always experienced, all the Levi's and Lee denim jackets were way short in the sleeve. I have long arms. Always felt left out. I found two Abercrombie jackets, both with abnormally long sleeves. Too long. I chatted with one of the sellers, she's the mother of the wearer, she told me it had never been washed. That one was ridiculously long in the sleeve, long by a number of inches. The other one was long but I hoped it was do-able. It had most likely been run through the W/D.

This worked out well! The shoulders seem good - I could layer over a sweatshirt. The hem is wearable but a little too close, but the good news is that I'm very serious about shedding more belly fat. Some would want the sleeves an inch shorter but I'm enjoying this as it is.

I find it strange they sold these with such long sleeves. For any 1980s or 90s teen fashion reason... I just don't get it.

Let me know if you can answer that. Let me know if this Abercrombie jacket has been discussed elsewhere. Let me know if I'm now on probation.

EDIT: I forgot to mention it has a blanket lining, a lot like the Levi's jacket I wore 35 years ago.

I really like the fading of it, and the length of the body seems spot on, very nice!
But like you pointed out those sleeves seems super long(did they design in to be rolled up? xD) but on a denim jacket that's a easy fix via a tailor(or via just rolling them up).

That's what the mom (seller) said - her kid always rolled the sleeves.
I think you must be right. I never would have thought they would ever design it that way - specifically to roll the sleeves. It must've been a thing, at some point.
I'm comfortable with it right now. Hehe overcompensating I suppose - I enjoy sleeves on the longer side.
