I heeded @Viking752’s advice, and took my Schott 515V vest out for a spin. It’s hot. I was actually sweating—that surprised me. But I looked cool. Lol.

This a small, which is the size (38-39”) I generally take in Schott. The length is perfect. It’s shorter than my other jackets.
