Arguably, NOS spring-loaded Crowns are the best zippers.Yessir, got the ones with the circular ends - they look chunky but move buttery smooth.
Now I get why people that have it, don't look back to anything else
BeautifulAn unexpected Memorial Day gift to myself - the LW Appalachian. Will update with some fit pics later. But is this an incredible specimen or what?

Please note the third and fourth words in the post you quoted. Pics or it didn't happen!Today, I've opted for a sleek and versatile black leather jacket to complement my outfit.
Best looking finished side type 3 I’ve ever seen. Spot on perfect! I noticed they had a greenish grey one. I really want it!View attachment 616817
Swedish summer always deliver these fun little surprise leather weather days. It went from 25 C and sunny to 18 C and cloudy - finally an opportunity to wear my new Vanson.

You look cool. A great jacket for summer.
Still in 50’s here this am. All bucked up weather wise so I grabbed my daughter’s sunglasses and the vtg buckboard for the morning trot. Thanks for sending this one back Hannes! I remember getting this right after my majestic and preferring it over the Aero. Nice to have it back!

I am a rust suede simp. Grabbed this one off grailed this AM!Looking mighty good on you!
It's a surprisingly versatile color. Does this kind of suede/rough out need to be babied in the rain? It rains a lot where I am and anything that can't handle that becomes rather impractical.I am a rust suede simp. Grabbed this one off grailed this AM!

In my experience no. These thicker cowhide split hides are not hurt by rain or water at all. I’ve soaked a few. No damage done. Some get a little stiffer than others, no idea why. Thinner suede def gets stiff, thicker stuff not as much. After I clean them and get them soft again I scotch guard them. It's a surprisingly versatile color. Type 3 are typically not my thing, but this one is really awesome. Wonderful fit! In Brisbane 18c and cloudy are our leather daysView attachment 616817
