I wanted a Autumn/Winter layering jacket and I got a beautiful (not yet broken in) Horsehide the colour of a fresh Horse Chestnut.

I am very happy with it (Thank you @lopo, and those that I spoke with about it).

The horsehide Ike I found was too small for me unfortunately. The hide is really something else though.

Dangit, I think I may be headed down another rabbit hole. This time it's pointing to half belts/something long enough to cover more of my longer shirts like flannel and denim. Time to start selling stuff to make space!

I personally think, if your hem is a bit slanting dropping from waist down to the center at least the front part, it would look fine worn with even lower rise jeans or longer shirt. a lot more forgiving and you don't need to hit a "perfect" length
