What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

In Chicago if you get one day of half way decent spring weather you must pay a penance and suffer a week of foul weather.
New beach gear. Love this one. It’s actually quite blue but it’s hard to convey in pictures.

I like that not only are you wearing a leather jacket in that heat, but sweats too!
Lol. I live in a part of Los Angeles called the valley. We get 40-50 degree temperature changes in a day all the time. It was probably low 50s this morning when I drove kids to school. We'll hit probably 105 around 3 o'clock. That desert air. Most people keep a jacket or sweater in the car because you'll go from wearing shorts when you leave the house to shivering by the time you come back.

Everyone talks about about Brando in "The Wild One." In 1971, Richard Roundtree in "Shaft" made Brando look like a sissy and was WAY more hip. I believe he and some other stars during that time were every bit as influential in bringing leather into the mainstream of American society.

Back in the 1970's. leather blazers, like these from Sears, were quite popular. They looked great with jeans. Experiment folks...leather blazers, car coats and trench coats. There is more to leather than cr's and dr's.

There is something about leather blazer that makes the wearer looks like a conman ready to sell you a **** business plan, just my feeling perhaps.
