That’s sharp!! I like the pocket config. I’ve seen that on a few vintage 40’s HB’s and swiped that element for my 5 Star build:
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. That’s a fantastic Jacket 5 Star did a great job! That’s sharp!! Yeah, an iconic masterpiece.Great jacket, but for the first time I also noticed your timepiece. Doesn´t get much better than that...!
I often debate with myself about who makes/made the best CR pattern. All the usual suspects, most of which I’ve owned, come to mind. Cal, Brooks, Buco, Bates…but the one I haven’t owned (not the single pocket version anyway) is the HD sportster. I think that’s the pinnacle of CR design. Everything a CR is meant to be and not one single ounce more. Superb!
It lives up to the hype. I really like the Brooks, but wasn't a fan of the back (Kehoe same issue). Also the leather, while really nice for $100, still felt high end mall.I often debate with myself about who makes/made the best CR pattern.
