Not wearing but post Urad and admiring. The hardware is remarkably clean given the level of wear. Main zip is as new.
Upon inspection of the halfbelt it looks as though this machinist was spent after the front design.

I don’t think so, but it’s possible. Not sure who the maker of is and given it’s at lest 75 years old….not sure how tight the QC would’ve been.

A bit off-topic, but those boots are amazing. Who made them?

They are by White Kloud. A one man maker in Japan. He is the best bootmaker in the world without question (unless you include dress shoe makers who also make boots.) You have to order in person, but it's an amazing experience. I'll make a post about this pair soon.

Gibson & Barnes M-422a. Jacket is getting daily wear literally rain or shine; wore it during a torrential downpour as the remnants of Tropical Storm Elsa lashed NYC, and again today (warm & partly sunny) aboard a boat at a commercial dive barge survey site in NY harbor.

It’s already been conditioned. It came to me essentially white/smoke from age. Maybe one more coat of wax but right now it’s sitting in it’s sweet spot of hydration. The more I’ve spent time with it, the more I love it. Can’t recall seeing another like it. Special place for this one. For now
