Trying out my best at @jonesy86
Clearly I’m a cheap imitation but a work in progress none the less.
Shorts-check
Tee shirt (optional)-check
Leather Jacket-check
Fedora-check

A damn good start. Now you need slippah (flip flops), sunglasses, and puka shell lei.

And last but not least:

Hey bruddah, where da beach?

First outings to the Saguenay region in the north with this vintage Bates. The 3 days we were there, temperature ranged between 10C and 20C daytime. With strong cold wind, wearing this jacket with a T has my ass freeze off in less than hal f an hour on the deck of a boat.

Shoulder and chest fit perfectly and very comfortable, the lower part is quite loose, would need some heavy beer and bacon diet to fill that up, lol.

These classic Bates jackets are definitely my favorite dress collar jackets, next to Aero's HWM. They're pure class.

Again, I'm really lazy with posting but this is the jacket I wear the most right now. Aero Board Racer black CXL horsehide.
If I had ordered a new jacket there are a lot ot things I would have avoided: no "proper" collar, center seam on the back, zips on top of the sleeves, imperfections on the leather and with the stitching...
But I took the chance and it turned out great. Just like in in our life, not everything is just right or wrong, sometimes we get surprised if we dare to take a new direction.

Maybe i am the only person in my country who dont get extreme insta fades

I know what you mean. I think the extreme fade/distressed look is a little too much at times that it kinda makes it look like a store bought denim jeans.

I know you get your jeans made to order as well. What brand denim do you recommend for Indonesian made jeans?

yeah right, I think my portion of fade karma has been extracted by my countrymen who posted at heddels lol.

since you are familar with MTO boots from indonesia,
I would suggest you the same this Ironclad Denim & Co https://www.instagram.com/ironcladdenim/ ( search them on IG only, they are based on the same city I live, but honestly I never meet them, I just order mine through IG dm and whatsapp). I think it has the cleanest construction, they fold over the front pocket bag over the side seam on the top block so your hip won't feel scratchy inside where your jeans fit the closest on your skin (that alone is HUGE plus), you can ask for yoke lining if you want (eye candy), they can make you any fit, no arcuate if you want (since a good/ mature arcuate is what most indonesian brands lack of), custom your stitches colors, material of the hardwares, pocket bag material, etc. mine was full custom made from 19oz thai milled from zimbabwean cotton, iron donut button with common laurel leaf, and copper rivets by YKK, come standard with selvedge fly and hickory pocket bag ( I didn't need to ask it), and the price I paid for my quilted double knee with double seat, and back cinch is the same or cheaper than some ready made Indonesia standard raw jeans.

downside is MTO wait time and common YKK hardware (no special brand printed hardware), they don't have special special run of fabrics specially milled for them, but rather than stuck with many "slim fit/ semi slim straight" offered by many and mostly over the top arcuate, I rather have this.

for RTW, I would pick WWco (warpweft co) denim https://warpweft.co/collections/exquisite-series, they have good tasty arcuate, beautiful hardware and unique fabrics, and functional website for international buyers.

Thanks man @navetsea ! I do like my hand made/welted Indonesian MTO boots. That's super informative and great write up! I'll make sure look them up. i don't know much about denim and it's specifics but I always liked the denim you wear. The one with with the padded knee and the zippers on the hem looked especially cool. I think I'm pretty good with waiting times so long as it's not more than a years wait lol

its pretty fast last time early march 2020 when I ordered a jacket and a vest it was done before april, maybe it was down time for them, but it was about a month or two max, unless people here suddenly made youtube video and turn things out of proportion  and resulting in wait time and price hike... which is dangerous since hype will pass on to something new, and hard to readjust back to previous price and domestic market segment they have left behind.:)

BTW this is my spec for my double knee
Size chart:
Waist: 76cm (around)
Rise: 26cm (front)
thigh: 28,5cm
knee: 22cm
Leg opening: 22cm
Inseam: 84cm
sorry I use metric, outside of my waistline and inseam I'm not familar using inches.

This is the top block construction i like the most that side seam is super clean on my double knee, also very strong i bet, double layers of pocket bag material used to cover the edges
