New Aero 50s Half Belt in grainy jerky Horsehide. August collar and contrast stitching. Mora Mac sewed her. Jerky hide is glossier than I expected but has a pleasant aroma and lovely grain. And of course feels quite light compared to most hides we deal with (Mr.Tony). Looking at these photos it's clear the fit is "relaxed" and feels comfy, will be good for layering. Black sateen lining with the camping label.

Another absolute win that arrived, one I've only got Marc to thank for. Harro racer in RED! This ain't me tryna steal @red devil's spotlight here but it isn't easy going back to wearing any other color after red. Missed my red CR ever since I sold it (essentially red Brooks! Never saw something like it since...) and something had to be done about it.

The three snaps on the trousers is a powerful look!

New-to-me Comet courtesy of @jpk_NJ thanks for the smooth transaction

Really big fan. Fits much better than the Royale Enfield (which seemed better made for someone taller and smaller). Feels good. Leather is tough but pliable. It’s well-made but not at all refined, big zippers and brute vibes. The short length is actually very easy wearing. Will probably never wear it zipped but could if needed.

Really nice Comet, @Mrfrown !

You'd really dig these, man! Made in Germany and really unique in a way. No lining, no belt loops (waist is adjustable with side laces), all the pockets are heavy leather... Just all hide thru and thru! Super heavy, too. Just fantastic all around. Thinking of adding zipper to the cuffs in the future.

Replied to your PM before I saw these. Pics. Actually looks great on you for casual wear! For me it was strictly bike duty but you fill it out. Probably the most beast mode CR Ive ever come across and from a heavy duty vanson comp weight batch. On a side note, I just ordered a 42 Royale Enfield from Vanson..... Im sick I know. But if you hang around this site, sooner or later you will be to LOL

Hah yeah, finding one that's just the way you like can be like hitting the roulette wheel over and over.

This is also the first time my less "jacket-inclined" half has given me "Is that a new jacket? I really can't tell but you're acting like its new." She doesn't give me a hard time about it though, we each have our own things which is cool.

edit: Looking forward to how the hide looks with a bit of conditioning as you recommended. will definitely be posting more of this one.

A weekend of mutual abuse has begun. I have plenty of work to do around the house and will be doing with 5.5oz leather strapped to my back. The sleeves have finally given way and no longer feel like a band saw is being run across my arms when I bend them. Now I need to get the collar and body to follow suit. It’s actually going much quicker than I expected from the past few days. I have also ordered a softener used for horse bridles.

The rolls on these sleeves are epic. When you are done, this thing will be comfy like a pair of old, well-worn boots...:)
