Iron Heart shirt, best thing I bought in a long while. Diesel jeans. Boots are Miu Miu.

Honestly man, I think that is way too long. I much prefer how your other truckers fit you.

It's understandable why you couldn't resist :) Beautiful jacket, love those sleeves and you're right it's not bad but it's a bit too long. If it was a different type of jacket wouldn't look long but for a trucker, it does in my opinion.

Thank you guys. The longer length on the type 3 Jacket by Japanese makers seem to have that design element and to a certain degree to leather outerwear as well. The length was what prevented me before from trying them out and this jacket confirms it. If it doesn't fit so well in the torso, I would have shrinked it a little but I'm afraid this will be unwearable if I do so.

Love the jacket, but that's too much brown at the same time for one man, all you miss is a brown tie and you would look like a geography teacher!

I'd say archaeology teacher, if you catch my drift. :)

@Marc mndt, outstanding outfit. Really cool all around.

@ton312, looks better but you gotta wear it now to heck and back. Maybe bury it in the back yard for the summer or have the Frenchie use it as a bed.

Undercover time cop 5 star. As much as I love this jacket the hide should be a google top hit for “boring brown”, just the epitome of dull. I soaked the jacket, scrubbed off some (?) topcoat and oiled it. Seems to be a bit richer brown now. Still not great but getting there.

Yeah I don’t want to bite off my nose to spite my face. Don’t want to risk ruining it. At the same time a 210lb container of chocolate milk isn’t a good look. I’ll go slow with it. I may try using coffee if a second coat of oil doesn’t do the trick. Dye would be a last resort and if I get to that point I might go full on red so it comes back purple:D

Think of this type of dye more like wood stain. It goes on thin, and you can wipe it down with a rag before it dries. It’ll end up looking cordovan or more like the 50s Penneys brown/purple.

Looks better indeed, that dullness is why I'd like them to have a bigger selection of hides.

This patina is a the result of natural sun tan, then dye, and hand made effects by first and previous owner. I’ve been wearing it for two years now, mostly in the sunny days. I don’t know why but this leather has a cold feeling and touch, like CXL, which make it very refreshing to wear!

It makes sense. I probably would have done the same thing anyway to confirm my opinion:)
