Quite honestly it is still too warm out for me to even pretend that jacket is warranted but you guys know how it is...
Went for a walk a little earlier this afternoon and said “hi” to a man I passed on the street, “nice outfit” he replied. Always nice to get a compliment from a stranger, I can only hope this jacket is a hit with the ladies as well.
great fit congrats, real nice collar shaping on the back of the neck on the 2nd pic

This incredible beauty.
Thick, rich cordovan steer hide.

Like the look of those. A little shorter than a Barbour international which makes it even more practical on the bike. Any vent openings?

No vent openings. Its pretty light weight with only a half lining on the back, makes it a good option for warmer weather when you need a thin jacket to ward off the occasional summer showers without going all out with the wet weather suits. And yes, it does strike a nice Goldilocks balance between lets say something like the Belstaff Brooklands which hits the waist and the Belstaff Trailmaster / Barbour International which is a bit too long in the body for me. I like this a lot. And for slightly cooler weather and/or if I need armored option, I wear the Vanson/UGNYC Robinson, which is this same Stormer base but with lots more details - D3O pads, leather backing on critical places inside, full liner, etc.

Pretty cool! Looks great, fits great. Doesn't seem terribly bulky, too, which is a good thing.

Good Morning Everyone, today Benny Holiday is modelling a 16-year-old Aero halfbelt in outstanding CXL FQHH, a $20 Lowes brushed cotton shirt, some cheap relaxed-fit chinos he bought online a couple of years back from a store he can't even remember the name of, and ridiculously long Coronavirus hair that hasn't been cut for 9 weeks. Yes folks, winter is here in chilly western Sydney, and isn't Mr Holiday happy? "I just wanted to wear a leather jacket like the guys on the Fedora Lounge." Thank you for that enlightening comment, Mr Holiday. And now get back to work, ya bum!

I dig that flannel. Would make for a nice tartan pattern.

Are you a taller gent? Because Thurston always seems to add a couple of inches length to all of their stock jackets which is a bit annoying for someone of slightly above average height 5'10" like myself. Otherwise there are a few jackets that I could have bought without hesitation from them.

Yeah, they seem to add 1-2 extra inches to most stock Aero models when they order from Aero. It's nice for some of us taller folk, but we have to live with the daily reminders of the used/ebay jackets we can't wear because the sleeves aren't long enough or whatnot. I know sometimes Thurston sends the stock jackets around as try-on jackets. Perhaps the longer lengths make customers' adjustments easier when they use a thurston stock jacket to custom order? Only guessing.

I think they just erroneously assume everyone wears low rise jeans and likes longer jackets or are dumb enough not to understand that a jacket (most jackets) shouldn't cover your hips and rear. I think it's a good idea to have some longer options in stock, but not every single order. Order half stock length, half regular. Appease more segments of your market.

I honestly think that’s the best type III they’ve done yet.
